European Standards for Automatic Doors (BS EN 16005 and BS 7036) sets the minimum level of safety allowed within the Machinery Directive for powered doors, this is a statutory directive to ensure the safety of employees and users.

Automated gates and traffic barriers intended primarily for vehicles but might also be encountered by pedestrians are covered by BS EN 12453. The code of practice for automated gates & barriers (DHF TS 011:2018) and for industrial doors & domestic garage doors (DHF TS 012:2018) are also strictly adhered to by DAES.

All of our technicians are certified and trained to the latest industry standards, allowing us to perform any type of service or repair on your automatic doors, roller shutters, gates or barriers. Our compliance service reports are submitted to our customers within 24 hours of site attendance. Any minor adjustments that may be required are included within our PPM packages.
